Eastern NC Fish Stew

1 gal water
1/2 lb fish
4 lg eggs
5 strips bacon
2 cn tomato paste
1 tsp salt
1 tsp red pepper
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cayenne pepper

Add bacon strips to a hot pot. Fry them IN the stew pot
and keep the grease in. Add water and seasonings. Bring to a slow
boil. At boiling, add fish and other seafood. The seafood will only
take 10 minutes. The flesh becomes white and flaky. *DO NOT LET THE
FISH BOIL AWAY* The meat should be in hunks, not small bits. At 5
minutes before serving, crack the raw eggs into the pot.

We haven't tried this one, so you are on your own. It sounds pretty good.
